Radiesse Filler Can be Used for Fuller Hands

Radiesse filler is a revolutionary, state-of-the-art injectable treatment that has recently received additional approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for hand augmentation. Radiesse injections showed improvement in the appearance of both hands in about three-fourths of the treated patients for three months.

The same test also showed that about 98 percent of the patients reported considerable improvement in the appearance of their hands in three months. To measure the results following the initial and repeat treatments, the Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale was used. These results were correlated with actual clinical improvements, with all primary and secondary endpoints achieved.

Majority of the reported adverse effects during the testing of Radiesse for hand wrinkle treatment were related to reactions on the injected site. Such reactions included redness, swelling and pain. Bruising was also reported for a short period, ranging from mild to moderate. Treatment was not found necessary to address these symptoms as they are only temporary.

There were no reported acute device-related adverse effects following the tests. Still, it is recommended that Radiesse filler and other similar minimally-invasive procedures should be administered only by certified professionals. This way, any unexpected reactions can be addressed and treated immediately.
